SECRET OF MANNA
Founded by phantom video game designer and sculptor Tim Nicholson, better known as Secret of Manna—Manna exercises a Duchampian approach to ready-made, wearable luxury objects. Fascinated by the everyday and subtle cultural banter, Manna transforms habitual goods into contemporary possessions and refined jewelry. Named after the beloved '90s video game, Manna combines biblical references with early internet culture and alchemy to broaden his masterful and sculptural metalwork. Gilding his wit with articles like mouse cursors, bread clips, RIMOWA luggage, weed nuggets, and more, Manna works with glit and solid precious metals and stones.
He is also a professor in the Media Arts and Design program at The University of Chicago.
